MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS.
DUNEDIN, this day. Mr Alex. Burt, at a smoke concert given in his honour by the marine engineers of New Zealand last night, at which the Premier was pr «r«nt, announsed that he would give £50 to the institute's library fund. The institute made Mr Burt an honorary life member. WELLINGTON, this day. The Wellington Fresh Food and Ice Company has declared a dividend of six per cent- for the year.
