Two claims for damages against the Auckland Tramway Company, which were* in the list for hearing at the Supreme Court this week, have been privately settled. The claimants wore Mrs. Lindsay, widow of the late Mr. Benjamin Lindsay, of I\ingsland, and Mrs. Margaret Bagust, of Karangabake. These being the only jury cases beside the one started this morning, all the other jurors summoned for duty this week were released from further attendance. Rev. Luxford lectures at Mt.
