DEATH OF CATTLE.
DUE TO r EATING TUTU. I (By Telegraph—Own" Corresponfeat.) KIHIKIHI, this day. Iv connection with the death of fortythree cattle, which took place on Saturday at Mr. Alfred Brett's farm at Maungatautiri, Inspector Ross made a post ; mortem of several beasts to-day. He j found that thpy had eaten greediiy of tutu on native lands, and that there" was no suspicion of anthrax. A gate opening on jto a road known to be closed on Friday evening was found open'on Saturday, and the cattle were found dead.
