INDIGESTION.
Its Symptoms wad Its Cure. Suppose all went .vrong at a railway goods yard; trucks for the north were shunted on to the south line; local traffic was hitched to the South Coast train; goods !or the south were despatched by the northern express — wouldn't there be confusion, probably wreck? Now, if you have indigestion, your "gsods centre is topsy-turvy. Goods — nourishing substances — which should be sent to the brain, are packed off to the intestine?. Substances which should be expelled from the body altogether are turned on to the main line, that is, they're poured into the blood, and allowed to run throughout the whole system. Naturally there ia confusion, and sometimes wreck. The blood is poisoned—that causes head•ache. There is constipation—that's because the liver has not been properly treated, and refuses to go on secreting bile—the natural aperient of the body. Sometimes there is a sensation of hunger. Then a rush of poisoned blood to the veins of the stomach changes the feeling to one of nausea. Away goes this blood to the head, and causes dizziness and "specks before 'the eyes." Then the gastric glands, having had no supplies sent them in the form of healthy blood, throw up work. The food taken lies Th the stomach until it ferments, and then its foul gases distend the organs and add acute pain to the confusion already -existing. All this is caused, mind, by Indigestion— the working of the supply centre going wrong. Indigestion thus sets up a score of other ailments. Now, Bile Beans, applied in a condition of this kind, art wonderfully. They stimulate the inactive glands to healthy effort. They gently open the bowels, and thus rid the body of impurities. The liver begins work again under their influence. It purines the blood of the bile which ha-i fgcape-d into it. The blood thus purified ceases to carry about poison, and take 3 health instead. Headache ceases, appetite returns, wind and pain are banished, and the whole working system is re-organised and run on smooth lines. This is no empty simile. Bile Beans are doing this every day. Tust as one striking example, take the following ease:—Mrs A. Smart, ot Peter Street, Caversham, Dunedin, says:—*T have been a great sufferer in the past with Indigestion and its aceomnanying headaches, and tried many so-called remedies, in the hope of being rid of these complaints, but could not even gain relief from any of them. Five year* ago I decided to give bile Beans a trial. and : much to my surprise, the first few- dose.* gave mc relief at once, and. continuing the course, I was completely cured. I can confidently recommend Bile Beans to fellowsufferers. They arc milH and pleasant to take, and do not give those griping pains so common to many other medicines." Bile Beans are obtainable from all medicine vendors, at 1/1J or 2/9 large box three times the quantity). At this trying season no home should be without a box.
