_jg_l |_cah -""*-__.••■ u ' ¥ 'v^uf^^^#^ r^ will not shrink or harden woollens or flannels, and this is the way to wash them : shake the articles free from dust, cut a Tablet of Sunlight Soap into shavings, pour into a gallon of boiling water and whisk into a lather ; when water is lukewarm work the articles in the lather very gently and carefully; rinse thoroughly in clear, tepid water; squeeze out water without twisting and hang in the open air to dry.
