BOATING FATALITY.
THREE PERSONS DROWNED. " (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, August 8. A sad drowning accident, which occurred at Whangamata on Saturday night, has just been reported here. Two men and a hid, aged nine, son of Mr Sainsbury, of the Whangamata Hotel, went on a iisking excursion at 3 p.m. The boat was found next morning in Blind Channel, also the bodies of the two men. There was no trace of the boy. The bodies were washed upon the sand.
