Indian Shot, Jeanne d'Albert and Catrlel ran seven furlongs on the tan iv 1.32. Matuku and Solution spurted half a mile in 52 seconds from a standing start. Golden Lily and Martian ran six furlongs on the tan in 1.15. Golden Lily, ridden out, beat Martian by about two lengths. Mldia and Dexterity covered seven furlongs in 1.33, Dexterity finishing in front. Rebua covered six furlongs alone at threequarter pace.
