Councillor and Mrs D. Campbell, old residents of Waihi, were accorded an enthusiastic farewell la3t evening in the Academy of Music. During an interval in the proceedings the Mayor (Mr W. H. Phillips) presented, on behalf of Waihi friends a beautiful silver coffee set with a massive silver salver suitably inscribed, as a token of the great esteem in which Mr and Mrs Campbell are held by Waihi residents.
