General Booth's Big Scltme. (Received 8.43 a.m.) LONDON, April 12. I General Booth is organising an Impej rial Labour Bureau, and sending submerged emigrants where they are most needed. A million pounds is required to develop the scheme. He hopes that the British and Canadian GoTernments will subscribe fifty thousand each, and the Australian and African States similarly. General Booth is to visit Australia in a few months in order to negotiate with the Governments. A conference of SalvaI tionists from all parts of the world will shortly be held in a huge structure which is being erected on vacant land adjoining the Strand.
