It is said that repairs to Westport Harbour Board's dredge Rubi Seddon. which grounded in Suez Canal wliile on her way out from the Old Country, will cost over £2000. Tenders have been received for the work, but they are considered too high, and the agents of Lloyd's are communicating with the Home authorities in regard to the matter. It will take nearly a month's work to get the dredge in proper order again.
