We are informed by Mr. Stevenson, F.R.A.S.. that a conjunction of Uie planets Mars and Saturn occurs to-day. and after dark the planets may be seen in the south-western sky, about the apparent, diameter of the moon apart— Mars being furthest south and of an orange tint, wbile Saturn appears of a pale yellow colour. After tMi evening Mars will pass east of Saturn, increasing the distance from night to night.
