THE AMERICA.
A survey of the Norwegian ship America was held yesterday afternoon. The surveyors were Capts. Clayton and Beaumont and Mr D. Gouk. No definite decision was come to in regard to the condition of the vessel, and the surveyors have recommended a further discharge of the cargo, in order to better ascertain the state of the hull below water. A third survey, will probably be held on Monday. We are informed there is no truth in the rumour that the ship has been purchased for a coal hulk,
