AUCKLAND V. THAMES.
The following team has been chosen to represent tlie local Hockey Association against Thames -and district on Saturday, next at Thames:—H. Whyte, Hill, Court; ShcrriUs, Thornes, Stoke.. Reid, Barry, Matthews, Bedford, and Mason. The team is comparatively weak c. dug to one or two players being unable to obtain the necessary leave. The team leaves this afternoon and returns on Sunday afternoon. ~
AUCKLAND V. WAIHI.
A match has heen arranged between Wat hi and the local association, to take p«i at Potter's Paddock on Saturday, Octow-• 3. As the Waihi team has defeated XMM& rather easily, a jrood game can De ' ooh forward to.
