SALE OF A SCHOONER.
The schooner Norval, owned by Mr J. J. Craig, bas been purchased by Messrs lorn and White, of Napier, who will employ the vessel for lighter purposes in place of tbe Queen, which vessel was lost recently while lightering cargo from the s.s. Niwaru The ' Norval, until recently en _gcd in the lime trade between Whangarei and Auckland, was built here in 1577, and her principal dimensions are: Length 66ft, beam lS.Sft, depth 7.2 ft. gross tonnage 56. The Norval is at present on the slip undergoing alterations ancl repairs, and is expected to sail for Napier shortly.
