BISHOP NELIGAN.
VISIT TO WHANGAREI.

WHANGAREI, this day. ' The reception of Bishop Neligan was an unqualified success. His Lordship received yesterday afternoon an address of welcome from the parishioners of the Kamo district, He visited and held service at the Hospital and Home, and received addresses from the parishioners of Whangarei district and from -the Maoris. His Lordship replied in a suitable and impressive, manner, and was listened to attentively. Solos and other musical items were rendered by various members of the church. After the address His Lordship was introduced ty the vicar to all present. When leavingby steamer to-day he expressed hearty appreciation of his enjoyable visit her*
