Per Te Anau, from the South: i)s_ sacks potatoes, 509 sacks oats, 300 sacks wheat, 331 sacks chaff, 180 sacks flour, BSO bags flour, 50 sacks sharps, 31 gunnies onions, 5G bales hay, 212 tons general cargo, and transhipments ex Gothic and Moeraki.
The s.s. Hawea saile-.l fo:: the South last evening. The s.s. Paeroa was floated out of dock to-day. The brigantine Carin has boon chartered to load produce at Lyttelton for Auckland. Tho barques Laira and West Australian are to load with guano at Surprise island for New Zealand, port optional. The schooner Gisborne, whh-h p:it into Mercury Bay through stress :>f weather, resumed her voyage for Gisborne yesurday morning. The s.s. Somerset leaves Sydney for Auckland to-day iii continuation of her voyage from New York, _ud will be due here on Monday. The s.s. Hauroto sails for the Islands and Sydney at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The only passengers are Mr Brennan and one steerage. The ketch Sir Henry sails for Kaipara shortly in charge of Captain Gallieue. The vessel has been chartered for the timber trade between that port and the South for some mouths. The new s.s. Mangapapa was floated out of dock this morning and berthed at the breastwork, Breakwater road, to complete her alterations and overhaul. The vessel ■takes up her running in the Whakatane (trade in about a fortnight's time.
