. The inquest, on the Rey J. M. Marshall, the first '■ iassiatant master and I%'aplftin of Wanganui College, who disappeared at Opawa 'Oji the. 2nd'insfc., ; and wjiose, body was found at Heatheote y.e3terday,..vwaV,held this-morning.. The Rev. Mr Cocks stated that the diseased, whilst staying; with'Kim, seemed ■art' his ueual hgalthrbut more silent than usual. On one occasion he spoke of his troubles at Wanganui College, whic;h worried him considerably, and, as .-witness thought, 'from his knowledge of the foctsJ, unduly. The evidence' showed -that when the body was found the clothes were not iriany way'disarranged, and there were no marks of violence; Mr Marshall, a brother of' the "deceased's, stated that 'his' brother always hud a weak heart, and oh several occasions had fainted.
' The' Coroner said that there was no evidence whatever "pointing either to "suicide or to death' having been inflicted by. another. .; . ' , "'"4' , n.e jury returned a verdict that de- ! came' by his death' b>'dfowning, but that there* Was no evidence to show "how h.e came to' be inimeraeii;
