The s.s. Moura sailed for Wellington last evening.

The barque Laira was docked for cleanIng and painting to-aay. The Taranaki Collieries Company's Bteamer Mangapapa. which has been purchased by the Northern S.S. Company tor their coastal trade, is quite a new vessel, having been launched at Sydney early tins year." The Ngunguru, which .as been exchanged for this vessel, leaves for OneIvunga next week, where she will be taken over by her new owners, and the Mangapapa will then be brought on to Auckland.

A Whangarei paper of Monday states:— "Oin» of the passengers from Auckland last night by the Wellington relays that the nia was not without exciting incidents.
