The kauri gum market has been fairly active since last report, and prices all round were well maintained. Generuuy speaking, steady business has been done m ail grades or (ruin. Supplies for the 29 Uays of July total 071 tons. Exports for .lie mouth to date total 440 tons, of which 362 tons went to Europe and only 78 tons to America. Ihe exports were as follow:-For Saa Francisco -Ventura, 17 tons; Niwaru, 01 tons 'Fw Europe-Mararoa, 70 tous; Niwaru, MB tons Taluue, 1C tons; Concordia, 132 tons; Mimiro 31 tons; Whakataue, 5 tons.
