WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Attorney-General gave notice to introduce the Shops and Offices and the Property Law Console!?.lion Bills, and the Law Practitioners Bill. The second reading of the Law Practitioners Bill was nu-.A ed by the AttorneyGeneral, AA-ho explained that its object W as to 'admit English lawyers to practice in the colony Avithout examination, and empoAvering the Government to reciprocate m that respect Avith other portions of the British Empire. The Bill was read a second time without discussion and tne Council rose.
