LODGE ST. ANDREW.

The ceremonj' of installing Bro. Thomas Webb as W.M. of Lodge St. Andrew, No. 8, took place last night at the Masonic Hall, Princes-street, when about 225 brethren were present. The Grand Superintendent of the N.Z. Constitution, Bro. McLean, officiated as installing master, the presenting officers being Ero. W. H. Bartlett, W.M., and Bro. J. A. Woodward, W.M., while Bro. E. Sewell, G.S.D., was director of ceremonies, and Bro. J. Page P.S.P., marshal. The following officers were also invested:— 1.P.M., Bro. F. D. Parsons, W.M.; D.M., Bro. J. D. Webster, P.G.S.D.; S.M., Bro. Dr. G. T. Girdler; J.W., Bro. S. S. Bradney, D.D.; treasurer, Bro. J. Catchpole, P.G.J.D.; secretary, Bro. J. Thomson; D. of C, Bro. F. "Peasley, G.D.C.; chaplain. Bro. J. Page, P.glp.; organist, Bro. H, Winkleman; S.D., Bro. W. J. Jaggs; J.D.. Bro. J. McKay; 8.8., Bro. M. McClnsky (reelected); 1.G., Bio. F. R. \Vhatford; S.S., Bro. G. W. Albop; J.S., Bro. J. H. Bradney; assistant stewards, Brotherg J. Bowers and F. H. Lyndon; tyler, Bro. W. Caron, P.M. (re-elected). A handsome Past Master's jewel was presented to Bro. F. D. Parsons, P.M. At the close of the ceremony the brethren adjourned to the lower hall to partake of a supper for which Bro. J. W. Nairn was caterer.
