ROME, July 8.
. The latest bulletin is to the effect that His Holiness passed a fairly quiet night, but that he had no refreshing sleep. The pulse is frequent, but regular. Respiration is not so free, but. His Holiness' weakness does not permit of a long examination. The depression of the heart's action is manifested by the patient occasionally becoming more accentuated.
The Pope said that he felt weaker, and not so well.
1; I shall die to-morrow," he added.
