MISSING FRENCH BARQUE.
SYDNEY, July 8
The manager of the British Foreign Insurance Company has been advised that the French barque Duconedic. 190 days out from 'Frisco to Sydney, with a caigo of 48,000 sacks of wheat, shipped by Messrs. Moore & Co., on account of Messrs. Gillespie Bros., of Sydney, was yesterday posted missing at Lloyd's. The cargo was insured for £20,900 with the Britisii Foreign Insurance Company, which to-day paid over that amount in settlement of the claims.
