The Racing .Club was favoured with fine weather for the concluding day of the Autumn Meeting. The attendance was about £2500, the Premier again being present.
The Autunm Handicap was a great finish, the placed horses sweeping past in a Iranch. The race was wou by Sir George Cliffords horse Cannie Chiel, who started favourite. , The sum of £12,282 w.ont through the naclmies to-day, making £22,587 for the meeting, or £2100 more than last year. The results are as foilows:— Autumn iiaudioup.—Canuie Chiel, l; Scyila, 2; Terrapin, 3. Scratched: General Sjinons. It was a great race, Cannie Chiel getting np in the last few yards and winning by a sliort head. Time, 2.10 l-o. dividend. £2 11/. _ , Hurdles.—Bellman, 1; Smithy, 2; Lady Bell, 3. All started, and Bellman won all the way by two lengths. Time, 2.48 4-o. Dividend, £2 S/6. „ Pacific Handicap.—Exmoor, 1; Auratus, i\ Lolah, 3. All started. Won easily by two -lengths. Time, 1.17 1-5. Dividends, £2 8/b and £1 6/6. Bc-Imont Hack Handicap. —lada. 1; >V aia toti, 2; Hatiey, 3. Scratched: Vahma ancl Position. Won by a length and a-hah. Time, 1.17 2-5. Dividends, £0 4/6 and £2 14/. Suburban Handicap, 7 furlongs.—-Tifci-rawa, 6.10 (Gomer)v ':!; Shrapnell Shell, 6.13, 2; Pure Stiver, 6.7, 8, Also started: Tsaritza, Pallas, St. Denis, Wlndwhiatie; Eea Gauntiet. Narcotic. Tikißiwa won) easily. Time 1.27. Dividends—£l3 4/ and £3 11/.
