"I notice that your trouble with the Ohehunga Borough Council b practically arranged," remarked a "Star" reporter this morning to Mr P. M. Hansen,, manager of tlie Auckland Electric Tramways Company, "the Council to accept wooden poles from the Royal Oak Plotel to the bottom of Trafalgar-street and the company to erect iron poles from that point along Queen-street to tlie end of the wharf." "So far as ir.y company is concerned," replied Mr Hansen, *t-here is absolutely no foundation for the statement published this morning that such an agreement had beevs arrived at. It would be unfair to other districts through which the lines pass whore wooden poles have been- accepted to agree to place iron poles at Onehunga." Best of all. Our beautiful suites, all prices.—Catchpole's (Simmonds -and Spragg), Karangahape-road.—-Ad.
