SCIENCE AND ART DEPARTMENT
EXAMINATIONS, LONDON.
The following results have just been received by the Director of the Elain School of Art, Auckland, of the last ex animation of this department of the Board of Education, London. The number of students entering was smaller than that of last year, owing, no doubt, to the fact that the examination foes have now to be paid by the students, whereas until lately the Government has undertake the cost of the Forty-three candidates entered for the examinations and 34 passed in the. examinations.

In addition to the above five students of the school have obtained the full "Art Class Teachers' Certificate" during the year,; which qualifies them to teach in any art school in Great Britain or the colonies.
