WAIKATO GUN CLUB.
The Waikato Gun Club fired a number of matches on Easter Monday at Frankton, which resulted as follows:—
Sweepstake, of 10 birds: "W. Holtby 8, S. Harker 7, R. J. Gwynne 5, W. Rae 4.
Mr J. Smith's and Mr Bright's prizes at five birds: Holtby 5, Gwynne 4, T. Jolly 4, Mcßae 3, P. Jolly 3, Rae 2, Macfersen 2, Harker 2, Biggs 0. In the shoot off Gwynne won.
Mr S. Barker's and Mr T. Jolly's trophies at five birds: Holtby 5, Gwynne 3, Harker 3, Biggs 1, T. Jolly, R. T. Jolly 0. In the shoot off Gwynne won.
Messrs Dalgleish and McDonald's prize and silver chain, at five birds.—Holtby 8, T. Jolly 3, Biggs 2, Harker 2, P. Jolly 2, Gwynne 1. The first prize went to Jolly.
"Argus" and Messrs Parr Bros.' prizes, at five birds: Holtby 4,. Harker 4, T. Jolly 4. Gwynne 2, Biggs 0. In the ehoot off Holtby won, T. Jolly second.
Sweepstake of six birds: F. Jolly 6, Holtby 5, Harker 4, Gwynne 2, T. Jdly 2.
Sweepstake of six birds: Holtby 5, F. Jolly 4. Harker 4, Gwynne, T. Jolly 3.
Sweepstake of five birds, unknown traps: Holtby 4, Harker 4, T. Jolly 3, F. Jolly 3. In the shoot off Holtby won.
