CRICKET.
WAIPA V. GORDON
The Walpa representatives played a match in the Domuiu yesterday against a Gordon team. The latter won by an iuniugs and 97 runs. For Gordon, Kallender (US) Dr. Egau (32), J. Seceoinbe (28), Whitelaw (24), Cullerue (16) scored doable figures. For Waipa Aldred (19), Bhepherd (15), and T. Livingstone (12) showed best form. In Waipa's first innings Kyd took 5 wickets for 10 runs, and A. Seccombe l_for 0. The second Innings was sensational, J. Seccombe capturing 7 wickets for 0 runs, and A. Seccombe a for 7. The whole side were dismissed for 20 runs in about 35 minutes. Toe fieldlii" was excellent. The scores were:—
