OHAUPO SPORTS.
The Ohaupo sports eventnated on Easter Monday. The weather was favourable and there was a large attendance. The following are the results:—
Need.s Race.—Atkin 1, Murray 2. 440yas.—Paterson 1, Dodd 2. Bandsmen's Race.—Teddy 1, Edwards 2, Half-mile.—Rutter 1, Cogswell 2, Tor kert 3.
Throwing Cricket Ball.—Lloyd (88yds) 1. Sack Race.—Cowley 3. Stockman 2. Ohnnpo Handicap.—This race was won by Littlewood. who ran under the name of Atkins. A protest was entered, and he was disqualified, the race being awarded to the second man.
Putting the Weight.—Hickey 1, Teddy 2. Maiden Race.—Dodd 1, Lloyd 2. O'Neill 3. Hurdle Race.—Murray 1. Coo 2, Ryan S. Boys' Race, under 16,-rlnnes T, Cubis 2, Ryan 3. X. 100yds.—Lloyd 1, Peterson 2. Tug-of-War.-r-All-eomers defeated Ohauno. Tilting In the Ring.—Bartles k, Hughes 2.
