Lambs, Dunedin and Southland, 5Jd. River Plate sheep,, heavy and light, 4 7-16 d; all other quotations unchanged. Beef, New Zealand, nominal. River Plate fores, 3 U-16d; hinds, 4 3-16 d. The above are the Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats, based on actual sales of not less than 100 carceses of mutton or lamb, or 25 carcases of beef of fair average quality. These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of .the bulk, of the shipments now in the market:' New Zealand sheep, crossbred wethers and ..maiden ewes, Canterbury, light, 48 to 561bs; Canterbury, medium, 56 to 64Ibs; Canterbury, heavy, 64 to 721bs; Dunedin and Southland, 56 to 641bs; North Island, 55 to 651bs.
