CHRIST'S MIND.

"But we have the mind of Christ." (Tie first Christmas gave birth to this mind, and seasons revolve that it may assert its sovereignty. Duration is not lost on the race; as the ages move on the "mind of Christ , ; appears with increasing clearness, so that the claim, which was a bold one in Corinth, is a still bolder one now. At ithis season of "peace and goodwill" can we make it?

Christ's mind did not lay stress on caierial possessions, discouraged the laying np of wealtn as a grave danger to the - soul, crowned with honcur, meekness, lowliness, gentleness, forgiveness; gave to the law of love the force of a "new commandment." and extended its operation to our enemies and persecutors! The God of Jesus wa* our *\Righteous Father" from whose loving heart our redempfcjon came. Eeligion was the soul's rest for time ancf eternity in God. He attached incomparable importance to the salvation of the soul. (Mat. xvi. £6.) Do we conform to this mind?

The question includes family aaid Social, commercial and political life, for the mind of Christ pervades everything, and is meant to rule. Faith, which is arden-t attachment to Jesus Christ, will enrich us with increasing measures of his blessed mind! This raind-eha-ring is a subject of deep interest to all, and h*re, as elsewhere, w« most take paras to know.
