The weather is fine, but a strong gale is blowing at the races to-day. The attendance Is good. Results:—
Clifton Handicap.—Romanoff 1, Perfection 2, Rangitata. 3. Also ran: Cave. A great race, a bare head separating the placed horses. Time, 1.22 3-5. Dividend, £6 8/. .
Telegraph Hack Handicap.—Museel 1, Contingent 2, Stranger 3. Also ran: Rebellious and Dalkety. Won by three lengths. Time, 1.22 2-5. Dividends, £2 10/ and 16/
Hurdles.—Light 1, Ashleaf 2, HauraJci 3. Also started: Roer and Kohunui. "Time, 3.26 Dividends, £2 4/ and 19/.
