The weather opened excellently for the concluding day of the Auckland Racing Club's summer meeting to-day. There was a fair attendance, and the course was in fast condition. Results:—

St. Olga and Despatch went to the front and remained there coming down to the four furlong post, when St. Olga fell back and Ragabrash followed Despatch into the straight. Putty came with a late run, passing the stand, but Despatch won by three lengths from Ragabrash, Putty half a length off third. No time was taken. Dividend, £7 16/6.

.The Needle and Tupara cut out the running for nearly six furlongs, when Golden Rose and Val Rosa closed up on The Needle and sent out strong challenges half-way down the running. Val Rosa forged ahead inside the distance, winning by two lengths from The Needle, Golden Rose half a length away third, Formula on her quarters fourth, Tupara fifth, the favourite (Rosella) next. Kose Shield drew into third place, then coming Lavalette, Porirua, Wairila and Spalpeen being the last two. At the turn into the straight King Log waa still leading, and starting to draw away, waa three lengths in front of Starshoot and Rose Sbieid, and holding his lead, won comfortably from Wairiki, who was followed by Spalpeen, who headed Rose Shield, and Starshoot inside the distance, Wairila beating Spalpeen a length for second place, Rose Shield and Starshoot very Close up. Time, U62. Dividends, £1 11/6 and 15/.

The seventeenth annual sale of Wellington Park yearlings will take place tomorrow, commencing at one o , clock. *Mr Morrin has an exceptionally fine lot •of colts and fillies this year, and thiese. wiU command the attention of buyers. The catalogue comprises some 30 lots all told, and after the sale there will be sold a number of horses in training, brood mares, and young stock, the property of pther owners, who have been granted the privilege of submitting their lots by Mr Morrin. Mr H. O. Nolan will officiate as auctioneer. Conveyances will leave the city about 11 o'clock.
