I The solution of this vital problem is to 'follow the example of Mrs M. Maurice, lof Thames-street, Uamaru, who was 'cured by Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale peupie after suffering the tortures of indigestion for years. Every doctor will admit that the problem of curing chronic stomach trouble is more difficult than the problem of writing 20,000 in a. circle. Mrs. Maurice, however, found a simple solution. "About three years ago,"' she says, "I suffered so much from indigestion that I hated the thought of food. My appetite vanished—and i grew thinner and weaker' every day. I lost all energy, and had no heart for housework. Everyone told me how pale and wretched I looked—but none knew how terrible the internal pains were after every meal." In a fortnight I was worlds better, and four boxes cured me completely. Now I enjoy perfect health/ 5 Of course the secret of such a remarkable recovery is a hundred times more imoprtant than the trick about 20,000, which will be explained in a moment. The genuine New Zealand Dr. Williams' pink pills that cured Mrs. Maurice are always put up in small wooden boxes and sold bj , all storekeepers at three shillings a bos, or six boxes for sixteen and six. They, fill the veins with, new, rich red blood, and cure ansernia, rheumatism, sciatica, paralysis, backache, kidney troubles, and the special ailments of women. But to return to the first problem —You can write 20,000 with an oval round it without lifting the pen if you fold over the right hand bottom corner of the paper. Then write the figures 20,000 in the middle of the paper beside the folded corner in such a way that the last "0" touches the folded corner, continue your line on the top of the folded cor: ncr and draw it back to the main sheet without lifting the pen. After that you can easily complete the oval —and the trick is done. Few people would guess this solution for the 20,000 riddle, but, in the other problem, there are hundreds in N.Z. who have had practically the same experience as Mrs Maurice, of Oamaru. Mr J.
