Walker, in company with Mr Morgan, mine manager of the waJm Grand Junction, and Mr Snow, mine manager for the W&ihi South Company.p aid a visit of inspection to the South Comipany's crosscut, wiherft a new reef TVau recently intersected in <Mife Grami junction's west seiction. The crosscut into this reef is now In Over 17 feet, with no appearance of the footwaill. Mr Snow ie of Opinion that after driving through this xpef the South Company's crosscut will iitEersect the Welcome or ©th«r lodes •eorndns from the W&ihi Company's reef gynrteim.
