WAIHI HACK RACES. 1 (By Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) { WAIHI, this day. The inaugural meeting of the Waihi Hack Racing Club took place on Saturday on the Waihi Jockey Club's course. There was a good attendance of tne public. With the exception ef the hurdle race everything worked smoothly. Mr R. Newdick and Mr M. Conway gave every satisfaction as judge and starter respectively. The following are the results* — Maiden Plate, 1 mile.—W. Thomas' Amahantas, 10.0. 1; W. Earl's Success, 9.7, 2; S. Darragh's Norman, 5.2, 3. Woo by four lengths. Spring Handicap, 7 furlongs.—O. Moyes' valedictory, li.O, 1: Scudamor's Ko*.ea, 11.0, 2. Handicap Hurdles, 1J mile. — Devey's Cyclone, w.7, 1; Araahantas, 11.0, 2 Thcsa 2a ii *f only sorters.
