BRUSSELS, November 16.

The attack on King Leopold, who was lately unpopular, has produced a revulsion of feeling. The police, with difficulty, rescued Rubino from the infuriated crowd.

The people swarmed round the vehicle in which he was conveyed to the police station, and hacked it with knives. Rubino was inside Saint Gudnles earlier in the day, but left, fearing that if he made the attempt there he would, wound the soldiers.

He declares that kings, clergy, and all established authorities are his enemies.
