AN AUSTRALIAN IN MOZAMBIQUE.
LONDON, November 14.
Mr Dan. Grove, who has arrived at Durban, declares that the Governor of Mozambique authorised him to hoist the Portuguese flag and proceed to Mokamba Bay. When he arrived in the territory of the chief Marave, he hoisted the Portuguese and Australian flags. The chief declared his willingness to protect the latter, but not the former, until the release of his brother, who had been imprisoned for not protecting) Portuguese envoys.
