The police have received advice that all the Government buildings, also the borough public offices at Tauranga. were burnt down last night. No details are-yet to hand.
[These buildings composed a large block in tiie centre of the township, not far from the beach. The block included post and telegraph office, money order office, magistrate's court house, and the Borough Council meeting room and clerk's office. The structure was a comparatively new one.]
