ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL.

The fifth anniversary of the conseoraition of St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, was commemorated yesterday, when the building was effectively decorated by members of the guild. Choral services were held during the day, in which the excellent singing of Dr. W. E. Thomas' choir was (heard to good advantage. A small orchestra was added for the evening service. The vicar, the Eev. Canon Mac Murray, was the preacher at the two services, when there were large congregations. A social and concert are arranged for next Thursday in connection with the event.
