QUEENSLAND MAIL CONTRACTS.
MELBOURNE, May 13.
In the Senate Mr Drake stated that he had .called upon the sureties of the Queensland mail contracts (which Cobb and Co. have thrown up) to carry out obligations. This had not been done, and he was now arranging to carry on at the risk of \ the sureties.
