THE CABLE INTERRUPTIONS
The New Zealand Post and Telegraph Department forward the following memos: —
"Berne advises cables between Dominique, Martinique and Guadelme Martinique interrupted. Telegrams for Martinique from the North sent frequent steamers.
"French cable telegraphs: Cable between Martinique and Paramaribo is working, consequently .communication is open by way of Madeira and Teneriffe.
" "Berne advises during interruption St. Lucie-St. Vincent and St. LucieGrenada cables, telegrams for islands south of St" Lucie, and for British Guiana, will be sent by frequent steamers, with approximate delay, from 24 to 48 hours."
