Correspondence.—A letlur was received from the Mayor of the Borough of Grey Lynn with a subscription list for the purpose of collecting in aid of Mrs Virtue, who was recently left a widow with several young children.— Tt was decided to allow the subscription list to remain in the office. t

Endowments. — On the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr McLeod, it was resolved that the sub-committee appointed to deal with the endowments visit the Ellerslie and Manukau Harbour Board endowments and report at the next meeting of the Board.—On the motion of Mr Garland, the name of Mr Walters was adfWi to the oomrn>Ue»

Northcote Rents.—The Public Trustee wrote that the period fo>- the reduction of the Northcote rents had now expired, and asked whether the reduced rents should continue. —Mr Stichbury pointed out that land in that district was rapidly rising, and he moved.
