OHINEMURI HOSPITAL

WAIHI, this day,
An important conference •of the Ohinemuri Central Hospital Committee was held on Saturday at Karangahake. Delegates from the surrounding1 townships attended. The following were from Waihi:—Rev. 01----phert, Mr A. H. Benge, Mr D. Campbell, and Mr M. King. A lengthy discussion took place relative to the erection of the hospital in a central position. Certain proposals were made with a view of having"the hos•pital erected at Waikino instead'of Waihi," details of which will be discussed at a meeting of the Waihi Hospital trustees on Friday. It is not likely that any proposals f> erecting the building outside Waihi will be accepted by the local contributors.
