His Lordship Bishop Lenihan, in obedience to a law governing all prelates of tbe Catholic Church, made his annual visitation of the Onehunga parish yesterday morning, being present at ten o'clock mass. In the course of his address to the congregation, the visiting prelate expressed himself highly pleased with the efficient state in which he fr-.und tbe parochial work, and paid a h;_rh compliment to Monsignor Paul's administrative ability^ which extended in
Onehunga with fruitful results over a period of fifty years. Now that the weight of years had overtaken their good priest', His Lordship thought it right to lighten his too - arduous labours by giving him a curate, the Eev. Father Lane, who would how be attached to the parish, which he had enlarged by attaching the Ellerslie district. .
