POLICE COURT.
At the Police Court yesterday after* noon, before Mr T. Hutchison, Anton. Dragieovich was charged with assault*, ing Anton Milicich, Mr Martin, who appeared for complainant, asked that defendant be bound over to keep thft peace. Tbe case was closely connected with a case heard earlier in theday, when Milicich / was charged with wounding- Dragieovich with in'-* tent, and was discharged. After evidence had been heard Dragieovich was bound over to keep the peace for sis months. . • •
The charge sheet .at the Policp Court this morning was the smallest on record for some years, only one ''drunk" appearing in a very empty Court. The offender, Charles Smith* by name, was fined 10/ or 48 hours'; indfefault for his second offence with*' in six months. *
