Wind: Moderate to strong from between north-west anil south-west everyWEmeter: Rise generally, but falling northward of Napier and New Plymouth af Sea- "increasing on east coast north of East Cape, and on all western coast; moderate elsewhere. Tides: Generally good. Synopsis of the last 24 hours: Steadily increasing- pressure north of Napier and J>Jew Plymouth, but very little movement anywhere else. Low pressure from west due at the meridian of South Cape today, has greatly decreased energy.
