Mr Albert Helps was to-day elected a member of the Auckland Stock Exchange. The District Coroner (Mr T. Gresham) held an i..quest this morning at the Children's Home, Ayrstreet, Parnell, v.- - the remains of a two-year-old child named Josejh Kerr, which was boarded out at tie Home. Sister Cecil, Matron of the Home, stated that the child was always delicate from its admission to the institution, in F bruary last. Dr. Swale, who latterly had been atter-d----ing the child, deposed that death was due to convulsions consequent upon teething. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence. Last night, in the TTheosophical Society's Hall, Mrs Judson lectured on "Fundamental Religious Principles and Their Relation to Theosophy and to Religion."
