WHAT HAPPENED AT A FOOTBALL
MATCH,
SEVERAL KILLED AND MANY
INJURED

LONDON, April 6
Seventy thousand people attended an Association football, match, between England and Scotland, played at Ibrox Park? Glasgow. The crowd broke the barriers, and invaded the ground. The mounted police charged and cleared the playing space. 'Many persons were injured in the crush. The back of the stand collapsed, precipitating* scores of people 35 feet, and burying them amongst the wood. Altogether three were killed. A hundred and fifty, were injured, some fatally.
