DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.
At the City Hall on Saturday nighf there was another crowded hottse, and the change of programme provided by Mr P. R. Dix was heartily; appreciated. Mr Prank Clark waa highly successful in his new items, all of which were of .a —urth-provoking; character, and was repeatedly encored. Miss Lizzie Kirk's co___b_« tions were loudly applauded, and s_« had to re-appear five or six times. Miss Alice Layton's soprano solos afforded much pleasure, and -were encored. Mr Ernest Fitts, in "DoDy Gray" and "Bid Me to Love," was recalled. The other contribntors werei favourably received, and the conch-d----ing farce, "Re-spice Finem," was full of humorous situations. This evening the same programme will be provided, and the re-appearance of the Howard Sisters is announced.
